Echo have decoded the defending Champions at the M4 World Championship

The Orcas were doing great in the Upper Bracket not until they met the codebreakers, Blacklist International. After back-and-forth games in the Upper Bracket Final, Blacklist took down ECHO and send them to the lower bracket.

ECHO managed to continue their journey in the lower bracket by dismantling the Indo team giant, RRQ, that booked their ticket to the Grand Finals, facing the defending champions, Blacklist International.

Echo vs Blacklist: M4 Championship Game Recap

Game 1

In Game 1, Echo out-drafted Blacklist by banning all the marksmen and went for Lunox to have burst magic damage that synergises well with Yve and Lapu-Lapu. Bennyqt’s Lunox insane amount of burst magic damage drove them to take Game 1 after 14 minutes.

Game 2

Game 2 was a little out of hand for Blacklist International. Echo instapick Yawi’s Franco after Blacklist locking Edward’s Joy. Even though Wise stole the third lord from Echo, Bennyqt decided not to join the clash and just went straight to take down the Base Turret that secure them to get Game 2.

Game 3

Blacklist tried to pivot their draft and went all-in by picking their signature heroes, Oheb’s Karrie and Hadji’s Pharsa. However, Echo knew what they were doing and went for a draft that was diving and going on top of the enemies, so they picked Kaja and flaunted a Gusion pick for their match point. Defending champions weren’t expecting the strong draft from Echo that lost them in Game 3.

Game 4

ECHO went all-in with their draft to close the match against Blacklist International. ECHO picked KarlTzy’s Fredrinn with a 90% win rate and Bennyqt’s Lunox to burst down Blacklist’s squishy line-up. The winning moment for ECHO was when Sanford’s Gloo dove Oheb’s out of positioned Beatrix along with Wise’s Barats. Echo ended up claiming Game 4 after 17 minutes.

The Bali United Studio arena erupted with ECHO chants as the team emerged from their seats as the M4 World Champions.
